There has been a recent trend in the real estate market and society as a whole to move downtown. The reason for this growing population in the core of American cities is because of the convenience to work, social life and businesses. When someone calls to place an order for any of the restaurants that are listed, the delivery service relays the order to the appropriate place and then sends one of their employees out to pick it up and deliver it.
This is a win-win situation for most restaurants because they don't have to hire another employee to run a delivery service, they get heavy advertising and it alleviates the phone ringing constantly because patrons are calling the delivery service instead. This allows restaurant employees to focus on what they do best, make food that people want.
Downtown lunch delivery service has become a big business. It allows an employee to stay focused on work and not rush on their lunch break. They can enjoy the meal in the comfort of their office and let someone else worry about the hustle of traffic outside. With one phone call they can have numerous food items available to them and can order from multiple restaurants at once with a delivery service. With the way our world is evolving and computers have become the norm, supervisors expect employees to accomplish many more tasks than they did 20 years ago. Through all of this demand it is not always possible to leave your job to eat. Delivery services have evolved with society and changed the way people think about food for years to come.
